Courtney & Evan

The story begins with candid getting ready photos of the wedding party on location at the beautiful Hotel Havana in San Antonio. This hotel is full of historic character and also provided the backdrop for a wonderful first look experience with Courtney and Evan. We love the opportunity to capture wedding party photos before the ceremony, too. The San Antonio Museum of Art was chosen as the location for the ceremony and a romantic tented reception. In fact, Courtney and Evan were married under the same tree where they spent many hours getting to know each other early in their relationship. Following a wonderful ceremony, the guests moved into the tented reception and spent the rest of the evening enjoying dinner and dancing under the stars. Katherine of Sweet August Events made sure the day was perfectly executed, as always. As a San Antonio, Texas wedding photographer, I enjoy photographing weddings at the San Antonio Museum of Art, and Hotel Havana is an excellent location for the couple to get ready, it is a great backdrop with lots of light and abundant character.
