Adam & Cetera first contacted us about photographing their elopement in Venice, Italy just a few months before December. Having never visited the city themselves, they wanted to work with a photographer they could trust to help bring their Venice wedding to life. We discussed in detail what they desired, including my plans to arrive a day ahead of them to prepare. Upon arrival in Venice, I scouted the locations we had in mind and pre-walked the routes from the couple’s hotel to my chosen locations so their day would go smoothly (and to make sure we didn’t get lost in the labyrinth of streets and canals of Venice). We agreed upon sunrise for the beautiful light and quiet streets. The morning of their elopement in Venice dawned with a dreamy fog that lent well to the couple’s romantic, intimate celebration.
